For this--and to bring the blessings of following the guidance of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in one's turning to Allah through supplication and remembrance--I would strongly recommend a good book of Prophetic supplications.

Personally, I would unhesitatingly recommend Reflections of Pearls by Inamuddin and our Shaykh Abdurrahman ibn Yusuf (published by White Thread Press, and readily available).
